Although the platform profile is called Full Stack Development, the detailed work is strongly focused on local AI and desktop applications. The responsibilities explicitly ask for a demonstrable AI application and practical experience running a local language model beyond making cloud API calls. The later section welcomes strong student projects and says previous professional experience is not required. Applicants should be able to explain their own code and what worked on the hardware they used.
Eligibility and skills
WFH availability for six months; relevant skills/interests. A demonstrable working AI application, hands-on local LLM experience beyond cloud API calls, strong Python/debugging, model inference/context/hardware understanding and clear communication. Students/recent graduates with strong projects welcome; prior professional experience not required. Not every listed tool is required.
The listed skills are Python, local LLMs, Git, PyTorch/Hugging Face; JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Electron, APIs, WebSockets, speech-to-text, RAG and fine-tuning useful. Candidates also need to be available for the complete advertised duration and to start within the stated joining window. A joining window and an application deadline are different: an available start date after the closing date does not extend the deadline for submitting an application.
What the intern will do
- Evaluate open-weight models for quality, speed, memory and hardware requirements with llama.cpp or Ollama.
- Prepare appropriately sourced data; fine-tune using LoRA/QLoRA, Transformers and PEFT; maintain separate evaluation data and compare base-model results.
- Explore quantization, GPU acceleration, caching and context management; stream responses and measure latency/resources.
- Integrate microphone/system audio and local transcription, handling partial transcripts, noise and accents.
- Build Windows/macOS application with Electron or comparable framework; connect local services and support loading, downloads, errors and packaging.
- Use uploaded reference documents/resumes/notes with retrieval and conversation context.
- Test latency, quality and stability; document experiments, limitations and blockers.
Perks and details to clarify
Certificate; letter of recommendation. Apply with demo/project walkthrough, GitHub/code sample if available, own contribution, inference/fine-tuning results and hardware limitations. Shortlisted applicants may have project walkthrough and small paid assessment of agreed scope.
Confirm the selected stipend within any advertised range, payment timing, reporting arrangements and expected availability directly with the employer before accepting. Where the listing does not specify an interview sequence or assessment format, this article does not invent one. The current advertisement remains the place to check updates or an early closure.

Preparing a useful application
Prepare the requested demo or walkthrough, a code sample if available, and a clear account of local inference, latency, model limits and your own contribution. Do not claim experiments you did not run. These are Jobsii preparation suggestions, not additional selection requirements announced by the employer.
The source lists the closing date but does not independently state a closing timezone in its visible deadline. Apply ahead of the final hours. Neither a profile submission nor an advertised perk guarantees selection or conversion to permanent employment.
