- Work mode: Work from home, India
- Duration: 5 months
- Stipend: ₹5,000 fixed + ₹5,000 incentives/month
- Openings: 3
- Start window: 3 November–8 December 2026

What will you do?
- Research colleges, architecture schools, universities and student communities that may need educational trips.
- Contact councils, faculty and institutional decision-makers through email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and calls.
- Understand academic objectives, travel dates, destinations, budgets and group sizes.
- Coordinate introductory meetings, share itineraries or proposals and maintain lead and follow-up trackers.
- Suggest campaign improvements and list travel packages on relevant marketplaces; final negotiations and bookings are handled with the core team.
The responsibilities above come from the employer’s current listing. They describe the work applicants should be ready to discuss, rather than a guaranteed allocation of every task to every intern.
Eligibility and availability
Applicants need five months of WFH availability, strong written and spoken English, confidence with cold outreach and calls, and reliable follow-up. A laptop, reliable internet and approximately 24 hours a week are required. Previous sales experience is helpful but not mandatory. The employer values interest in travel or education, student-committee experience and familiarity with academic field visits.
The advertised start window is 3 November–8 December 2026. You should be able to commit for 5 months and explain your availability accurately in the application. A remote location does not remove the employer’s availability or coordination requirements.
Skills that matter
Lead generation, prospecting, market research, MS Excel, email marketing, social media and spoken/written English. The work centres on institutional relationships and suitable travel programmes rather than independent responsibility for every booking.
For preparation, choose examples that match these duties: a project, an academic assignment, practical work or a portfolio piece. Explain your own contribution and the tools you used. This is an application suggestion, not an extra eligibility condition announced by the employer.
Stipend and listed benefits
The ₹10,000 displayed total comprises ₹5,000 fixed pay and ₹5,000 incentive pay per month. A certificate, recommendation letter and flexible work hours are listed. Incentives should not be treated as guaranteed fixed pay.
About the employer
Chal Kabira, also described as FunExpedia, is a private travel startup incubated at Gujarat University’s GUSEC. Incubation at a university does not make this a government job.
