Apply by 01 Oct 2025

We are seeking a detail-oriented, process-driven Operations Executive to manage end-to-end Background Verification (BGV) and Brand Safety processes for creators. This article outlines the role, responsibilities, and candidate requirements in clear detail, describing the day-to-day expectations and the technical and communication skills required to thrive in a high-volume, hybrid full-time environment.

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

The Operations Executive role centers on executing and managing comprehensive Background Verification (BGV) and Brand Safety workflows for creators. The position requires a disciplined, process-driven approach to ensure every report is accurate, compliant, and aligned with established SOPs and quality controls. The primary focus is end-to-end management: from intake and validation of creator details to finalization of error-free reports and coordination on escalations.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Manage BGV and Brand Safety workflows: Execute and oversee the complete lifecycle of background verification and brand safety processes, ensuring tasks move smoothly through each stage in accordance with defined procedures.
  • Review, validate and process creator details: Assess and confirm information such as education, employment history, identity documents, and social media handles to validate creator identities and records.
  • Conduct adverse content checks: Evaluate content across social and digital platforms using provided guidelines and keyword categories to identify potential brand safety risks or adverse content related to creators.
  • Ensure high-quality, error-free reports: Prepare and deliver reports that adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Quality Control (QC) processes to maintain consistent accuracy and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records and trackers: Keep detailed and up-to-date records of verification activities, statuses, and outcomes to support transparency and traceability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams: Engage with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to escalate issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution of process blockers.
  • Suggest process and automation improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance current workflows and recommend automation where appropriate to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and confidentiality policies: Operate within established data protection frameworks to protect sensitive creator information throughout the verification and reporting lifecycle.

These responsibilities demand a meticulous eye for detail, strong adherence to processes, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads without compromising quality. The role balances operational execution with collaboration, requiring the Operations Executive to act as both a hands-on verifier and a proactive communicator across teams.

Candidate Requirements, Skills, and Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have a background relevant to operations, background verification, KYC, compliance, or brand safety. While experience is preferred, candidates with 0–2 years in related functions can be competitive if they demonstrate the right skills and mindset. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • Educational requirement: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in operations, background verification, KYC, compliance, or brand safety is preferred.
  • Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and consistency to produce error-free outputs and maintain high-quality reports.
  • Communication skills: Clear written and verbal communication to coordinate with Sales, Product, and Engineering and to document findings effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment: Comfortable handling large workloads while following SOPs and QC processes.
  • Technical proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets and SQL is required; familiarity with dashboards/tools such as Metabase is a plus.
  • Personal attributes: Self-motivated team player who can work collaboratively and suggest process improvements.

The position is hybrid and full-time, with five working days per week. The Operations Executive must be committed to maintaining data security and confidentiality at all times, following organizational policies to protect creator information. This role demands a balance between methodical verification practices and agile coordination with internal stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Together, the responsibilities and requirements outline a role built for those who excel at process execution, careful review, and cross-functional collaboration in an environment that values precision, compliance, and scalable workflows.

In summary, the Operations Executive role focuses on end-to-end Background Verification and Brand Safety for creators, combining meticulous review, SOP-driven reporting, cross-functional coordination, and continuous process improvement. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, 0–2 years relevant experience, strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency in Excel/Sheets and SQL are well-suited for this hybrid, full-time position with five working days per week.
