**UI/UX Intern – Role Overview**

**Qualifications and Skills**
– Currently pursuing or having recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree/diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related discipline.
– Foundational knowledge of UI/UX design principles, user-centered design methodologies, and the overall design process.
– Proficiency or familiarity with industry-standard design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
– Understanding of responsive design concepts and mobile-first approaches to ensure optimal presentation across devices.
– Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to empathize with users, anticipating their needs and preferences when designing interfaces.
– Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively engage with cross-functional teams and contribute to collective outcomes.
– A portfolio showcasing academic or personal design projects that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving abilities, and fundamental UI/UX competencies is highly desirable.
