Job Description:
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing vision-based AI solutions for industrial applications. Your work will focus on creating systems capable of tasks such as object counting, defect identification, sorting, and image analysis using advanced Computer vision techniques. These applications will run on edge devices or cloud platforms to deliver efficient and scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement Computer vision algorithms for industrial applications.

Build vision-based systems for object counting, defect detection, and sorting.

Optimize software for edge computing devices and cloud platforms.

Integrate hardware components such as cameras, sensors, and robotic systems with software solutions.

Perform data collection, labeling, and preprocessing to train and validate machine learning models.

Conduct experiments to evaluate system performance and improve accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, to ensure seamless integration.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and related technologies.
#Qualification and skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

Proven experience in computer vision and machine learning application development.

Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or similar languages.

Proficiency with computer vision libraries/frameworks such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, YOLO v9 or similar tools.

Experience with HALCON and MERLIC is a plus.

Familiarity with edge computing platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Knowledge of image processing techniques and algorithms.

Experience with industrial camera systems, SDKs, and protocols is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
