**Key Responsibilities**

As a Machine Learning Engineer Apprentice at Secure Blink, you will be entrusted with a diverse set of responsibilities essential to advancing our AI-driven cybersecurity initiatives:

– Design, develop, and fine-tune machine learning models, with an emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs) and associated architectures. Your work will focus on processing and analyzing vast, complex datasets to identify actionable insights and detect potential cybersecurity threats.

– Utilize and experiment with open-source LLMs such as LLaMA, Falcon, MPT, or analogous models to build robust AI-powered solutions tailored specifically to cybersecurity challenges.

– Implement sophisticated algorithms for extracting meaningful trends, uncovering hidden patterns, and assessing risks from heterogeneous data sources within cybersecurity frameworks.

– Ensure the integration of best practices related to code quality, system reliability, and regulatory compliance throughout the design, development, and deployment phases of ML and AI applications.

– Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams comprising software engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity domain experts to develop and enhance automated analysis tools, real-time threat detection systems, and comprehensive reporting mechanisms.

– Stay abreast of the latest research and innovations in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and AI methodologies, particularly as they apply to cybersecurity.

– Contribute to the creation of advanced tools that generate detailed, actionable reports, provide automated security recommendations, and deliver real-time user feedback to enhance threat response capabilities.

**Required Qualifications**

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in machine learning and software development, complemented by relevant academic and practical experience:

– Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with prominent machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face Transformers.

– Practical experience or working knowledge of open-source large language models, including but not limited to LLaMA, Falcon, MPT, or similar architectures.

– Solid understanding of fundamental concepts in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP techniques, enabling the effective design and implementation of AI models.

– Awareness or experience with cybersecurity-specific domains such as data quality assurance, cyber risk assessment, threat detection, or related fields.

– Experience working collaboratively within code review processes, version control systems (preferably Git), and other standard software development practices.

– Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a closely related technical discipline.

– Strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
