Backend Developer (Node.js) | RoastNest (Open Source)
Help us build the future of feedback tools!
RoastNest was born from a challenge: developers struggle with incomplete feedback, slowing down the development cycle. We experimented with various solutions, from web widgets to tracking scripts, but found they lacked true context. In 2025, we built an open-source toolkit that automates feedback collection with full context—designed for developers, by developers.
Role: Backend Developer (Node.js) Location: Remote | Part-time/Flexible Compensation: Unpaid (pre-seed project)
What You’ll Do

Develop & optimize Node.js backend (Express.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL).

Build REST APIs & integrate tools like Slack & Discord.

Work on real-time data processing & analytics.
