Role Overview

Radisson is looking for a dedicated HR Apprentice to join our team! This role offers a comprehensive experience in human resources, supporting both the recruitment process and ongoing employee relations. As an HR Apprentice, you will work closely with HR Consultants and hotel teams to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Support: Review and respond to resumes, forwarding qualified candidates to HR Consultants or specific hotels. Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidate suitability.
  • Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support for HR operations, including scheduling interviews and updating candidates on their selection status. Draft offer letters and manage the recruitment process for assigned non-exempt roles.
  • Status Reporting: Prepare and maintain recruitment status reports, tracking open and filled positions while summarizing recruitment costs.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Assist with Workers’ Compensation documentation, handle EEO complaint responses, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement Return to Work programs and report cases to the HR Manager as needed.
  • Employee Relations Support: Work with Department Heads to facilitate effective communication, support employee transfers or reclassifications, and coach managers on appraisal practices.
  • Orientation and Training: Plan and coordinate employee orientation sessions, training programs, and ongoing initiatives to foster a positive work culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Compensation Management: Coordinate wage and performance review activities to ensure compliance and cost efficiency. Inform employees about their benefits and hotel policies, enhancing their understanding and satisfaction.
  • Employee Development: Conduct training sessions and administer special promotions or incentives to boost morale, productivity, and job satisfaction.
