DRDO LRDE Paid Internship: 75 Seats for Final-Year Students
Work on real radar technology at one of India’s premier defence labs — and get paid for it.
The Electronics & Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), a flagship laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, has opened applications for its Paid Internship 2026-27. If you’re a final-year engineering or M.Sc student looking for hands-on exposure to indigenous radar and defence technologies, this is one of the most prestigious internships you can apply for in India.
A total of 75 seats are on offer across five branches, and the last date to apply is 1 July 2026 — so move fast.
Why this internship matters
LRDE develops the radar systems that power India’s defence services. As an intern, you won’t be fetching coffee — you’ll work alongside DRDO scientists on live R&D projects in cutting-edge fields. The internship period counts as part of your degree course, and you walk away with a DRDO completion certificate, a strong resume line, and real exposure to defence technology.
