Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Perform manual testing to detect software defects and log issues.
- Collaborate with developers to replicate and troubleshoot reported bugs.
- Conduct regression testing to confirm the resolution of previously identified issues.
- Engage in exploratory testing to identify hidden defects and enhance user experience.
- Document and report bugs with clarity and precision.
- Participate in test case reviews and contribute to process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and new testing technologies.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, qTest).
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing tools like BrowserStack.
- Experience in creating comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency in regression and exploratory testing.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Basic understanding of the project domain is an added advantage.
