Responsibilities of the Intern:
– Develop and maintain robust backend systems using Python, focusing on scalability and performance optimization
– Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask or FastAPI to support frontend applications and integrate with external services
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient and maintainable code solutions
– Optimize database queries and design schemas to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval using various DBMS systems
– Implement and maintain scalable applications that can handle high traffic and data volumes
– Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage backend infrastructure, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
– Apply Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) principles to solve complex problems and improve system efficiency
– Integrate and leverage various Python libraries to enhance functionality and streamline development processes
– Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and incorporating best practices
– Demonstrate a strong ownership mentality by taking responsibility for assigned tasks and seeing them through to completion
