Key Responsibilities
- User Research
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user journey mapping to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze research data to uncover insights and guide design decisions, ensuring user-centric outcomes.
- Wireframing and Prototyping
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and feedback collection.
- UI/UX Design
- Design intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to align designs with project goals and business objectives.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback for iterative improvements.
- Usability Testing and Iteration
- Conduct usability testing to validate designs and gather user feedback.
- Refine designs based on testing outcomes and feedback to enhance the overall user experience.
- Design System Maintenance
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of a design system to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Adhere to design guidelines and industry best practices across all touchpoints.
- Staying Current with Design Trends
- Stay informed about the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to deliver modern, user-focused designs.
- Promote user-centered design principles and best practices within the team and the organization.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with usability testing methods and tools (e.g., Hotjar, UserTesting).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale.
