Roles and Responsibilities:
Feature Development: Collaborate on designing, developing, and testing new features for both admin and user dashboards, enhancing functionality and user experience.
Front-End Development: Create responsive, interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and EJS for seamless user experiences.
Back-End Integration: Utilize Node.js and MongoDB to manage database operations, integrate APIs, and implement server-side logic.
Security and User Authentication: Support secure user login, role management, and session handling to ensure data protection and smooth user experiences.
Testing and Debugging: Perform detailed testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring the platform performs optimally across various devices and browsers.
Collaboration: Join daily stand-ups, code reviews, and brainstorming sessions to continuously improve the platform in a collaborative setting.
Documentation: Maintain organized, detailed documentation for new code, features, and fixes, aiding in knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of front-end frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB (or similar database).
- Familiarity with EJS or similar templating engines is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Git for version control.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative, remote team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with user authentication, secure data handling, and authorization.
- Basic understanding of responsive design principles.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON is advantageous.
