Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and enterprising Software Engineer to join the Oracle-NetSuite team at our Hyderabad location. In this role, you will contribute to delivering our industry-leading ERP product, used by some of the world’s largest organizations. You will be involved in defining, developing, debugging, designing, and testing software applications to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to leverage technology to solve real-world business challenges and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Above all, you will be committed to developing robust, scalable, and customer-centric solutions.

Experience & Skills:
- Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in software development with exposure to software quality assurance processes.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with various software programming techniques and development tools.
- Experience in developing JavaScript-based single-page applications using Web Services and JavaScript libraries.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Knowledge of Selenium script development and API automation (preferred).
- Advanced HTML skills, including HTML5, CSS3, XHTML, and JSP (an added advantage).
- Skilled in integration strategies and approaches.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience as part of a Scrum team is a plus.
- Version Control: Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs while maintaining high-quality standards through effective automation testing.
- Create prototypes, write unit tests, and deploy solutions across different environments.
- Test applications thoroughly and build automated tests to ensure robust functionality.
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues, providing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
- Translate user requirements into innovative technical solutions.
- Ensure timely delivery of development tasks, addressing challenges and resolving impediments.
- Maintain and execute automated tests, updating them as necessary for new features.
- Follow quality control methods and implement improvements to meet high product standards.
- Analyze code coverage reports and address gaps with new code for untested areas.
- Mentor new team members and take ownership of sprint and release commitments, escalations, and impediments.
- Ensure application performance and quality align with business goals.
- Adhere to Scrum framework and team methodology requirements.
