Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated NLP Engineer Intern to join our DSML (Data Science and Machine Learning) team and contribute to Prodigal’s Conversational Intelligence products. This role provides hands-on experience with advanced NLP techniques, model evaluation, and text analysis.
Minimum CGPA – 8
Responsibilities
- Develop complex regex patterns to extract key information from intricate conversations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of NLP components.
- Lead NLP model evaluations and clearly present findings to enhance model effectiveness.
- Analyze raw conversational data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
- Use customer feedback and performance metrics to improve existing NLP methods.
Requirements
- Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python and regular expressions for text manipulation.
- Solid understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
- Knowledge of NLP basics and text representation techniques.
- Experience with code versioning tools like Git.
- High attention to detail in documentation and code quality.
- Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a strong foundation in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Interview Process
- Practical Assignment – Assess your NLP skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Two Interview Rounds – Discussions with DS/ML team members on technical skills, fit, and project alignment.
