About the Internship

Join SpeedVitals as a Frontend Development Intern and work on building the product's frontend for a real-world production web app. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern frameworks. You'll be responsible for creating new features, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and enhancing the UI/UX. Collaborate closely with our full-time engineers to bring the product vision to life.

Responsibilities

1. Design mockups and specifications and build new features.
2. Identify and resolve bugs and issues in the frontend code.
3. Optimize app performance through targeted improvements.
4. Build reusable and modular UI components.
5. Learn and contribute to frontend architecture and design patterns.
6. Document code and explain technical decisions effectively.

What We’re Looking For

1. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js with an understanding of UI/UX principles.
2. Current student pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or IT.
3. Experience or strong interest in building responsive web applications.
4. Familiarity with modern frontend tools and libraries.
5. Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
6. Excitement to work with a growing engineering team and take ownership of projects.
7. Strong time management and organizational skills.

Good to Have

1. Experience working on multiple React.js projects.
2. Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.
3. Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
