Responsibilities
- Problem Translation:
- Convert business challenges into technical problems solvable through data science and machine learning techniques.
- Collaboration:
- Work with product managers, machine learning engineers, and business users to develop and deploy data science solutions.
- Model Prototyping and Deployment:
- Prototype and deploy scalable and maintainable data science models for production environments.
- System Improvement:
- Partner with business teams to continuously enhance systems to address evolving organizational needs.
- Data Analysis:
- Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Experimentation:
- Design and execute experiments to measure the impact of machine learning models and product features, particularly in the Marketplace Team.
Requirements
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and basic visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
- Model Development and Deployment:
- Hands-on experience taking data science models from development to production.
- Analytical Skills:
- Ability to conduct independent analysis, including data manipulation, hypothesis formulation, and statistical experiment analysis.
- Documentation:
- Clear and concise technical documentation skills.
