As a SysDev Engineer, you will design and deliver technical solutions that solve complex business problems for AGI customers. You will tackle ambiguous challenges, address architectural shortcomings, and enhance systems to support innovation across teams. Your focus will be on building scalable, maintainable systems that stand the test of time. You’ll make balanced trade-offs, reuse existing work when possible, and address short-term workarounds with long-term fixes. Your work will be thoroughly tested, automated, and streamlined to enhance development, testing, and operational processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, operate independently, and thrive in managing ambiguity. AGI foundational models and services power all Amazon businesses, supported by AGI Data Services, a crucial component of the organization. AGI Data Services focuses on creating, curating, and analyzing data to develop, test, and train AI models. The team processes various data formats, including audio, video, and images, to provide ground truth data for internal stakeholders like data modeling and product teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in automating, deploying, and managing infrastructure.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and related processes.
