Responsibilities
As an AI Research Scientist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Research & Innovation: Stay updated with advancements in machine vision, NLP, deep learning, reinforcement learning (RL), agentic systems, and related fields.
- Algorithm Development: Design and implement novel AI algorithms, models, and techniques tailored to specific problem domains.
- Engineering Pipelines: Build scalable AI engineering pipelines for deploying models at internet scale.
- Documentation & Communication: Document research methodologies, findings, and experimental results in technical reports, blogs, and papers.
- Knowledge Sharing: Publish research findings in conferences, workshops, and other scientific forums.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams for model deployment and business teams for customized training and implementation.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Deep Learning Expertise: Extensive knowledge of advanced deep learning or generative architectures such as diffusion models, attention mechanisms, LLMs, SAM, RLHF, and other cutting-edge techniques.
- Proven Research Impact: A strong track record of innovation, demonstrated through first-author publications, deployed projects, or impactful technical blogs.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with modern deep learning stacks, including Python, PyTorch, and GPU-enabled compute environments, with the ability to write complex custom architectures in PyTorch.
- Codebase Management: Ability to iterate on open-source codebases while maintaining backward compatibility, usability, and readability.
