Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Configure and manage virtual machines, containers, and storage resources.
- Automation and Optimization
- Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting
- Monitor cloud systems for uptime, reliability, and performance using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and applications.
- Security and Compliance
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies.
- Ensure systems comply with security standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- DevOps Collaboration
- Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized applications with tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Integrate cloud solutions into DevOps workflows for seamless deployment and scaling.
- Database and Storage Management
- Manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Configure and monitor cloud storage solutions like S3, Blob Storage, or Google Cloud Storage.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture and operational procedures.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, optimization strategies, and cost management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
